Everyone deserves access to the care they need, and we’re committed to making that a reality. Together, we can build a healthier, stronger community.
HENNA Needs
Assessment
We understand that limited access to resources and services can increase the risk of homelessness. That’s why we’re committed to creating thoughtful needs assessment plans tailored to each individual. During your HEENA assessment, we’ll identify your current needs, and your dedicated case manager will work closely with you to develop a personalized support plan. This plan may include assistance with opening a bank account, obtaining a driver’s license, accessing health insurance, setting life goals, attending healthy living classes, receiving bus passes, obtaining a no-fee birth certificate voucher, participating in group classes, and more. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
About My Time Movement
Building brighter futures for our youth
My Time Movement, established in the summer of 2024 by three amazing women, is a non-profit organization committed to preventing youth homelessness before it starts. Guided by a Board of Directors with both lived experience in the child welfare system and professional expertise, we bring a unique and informed perspective to this critical mission.
My Time Movement is dedicated to aiding in the fight against youth homelessness. Let’s stop it before it begins.
At My Time Movement, we believe in creating brighter futures by offering support, resources, and hope to at-risk youth.

A Love Letter To You
To all the incredible young adults transitioning from or who have aged out of foster care,
Your past does not define your future. You have the strength, resilience, and potential to build your dream life. Every challenge you’ve faced has only made you stronger, and every step you take forward is a testament to your courage.
“You can get excited about the future. The past won’t mind.”
- Hillary DePiano
Believe in yourself, embrace your journey, and remember that your future is filled with endless possibilities.
You can achieve greatness. Your past is just one chapter in your remarkable story. Keep pushing forward, stay determined, and never lose sight of your dreams. You are powerful, you are capable, and your future is yours to shape.
What is CalAIM
The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) developed CalAIM as a long-term project to improve and modernize Medi-Cal. CalAIM's goal is to maximize the health and life trajectory of Californians by providing them with a more person-centered, coordinated, and equitable approach.
CalAIM prioritizes prevention and whole-person care to meet members' holistic health needs. Members with complex needs can access innovative services outside of conventional healthcare settings thanks to whole-person care. For members whose wellness is influenced by complex social factors, such as homelessness, behavioral health, care needs for older adults, transitioning out of incarceration, and more, these services seek to improve health outcomes and offer comprehensive care.
What is HEENA
The H.E.E.N.A Assessment is a holistic, early-intervention support service designed for former foster youth ages 18–25. Our goal is simple: address unmet needs before they become crises. Through the assessment process, each participant is paired with a dedicated case manager who works alongside them to build a personalized plan toward stability, independence, and long-term success.
During the H.E.E.N.A Assessment, we identify the recipient’s needs across four core areas:
Housing, Education, Employment, and Essential Needs.
