My Time Movement is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting former foster youth ages 18–25 as they transition into adulthood. We provide community, resources, and guidance to help young adults build stable, fulfilling lives and prevent youth homelessness before it begins.

We primarily serve former foster youth between the ages of 18 and 25. Many of our programs are designed specifically for young adults who are aging out of the child welfare system and may not have traditional family support networks.

Services may include: • Life-skills coaching and mentorship • Housing navigation and stability support • Community connection and peer support events • Employment and education guidance • Workshops on financial literacy, wellness, and personal development • Referrals to partnering agencies and CalAIM programs Our services continue to expand as we grow and respond to community needs.

No. All My Time Community programs and services are free for eligible youth.

You may qualify if you: • Are between 18 and 25 years old • Have a history of foster care placement • Need support with housing, stability, life skills, or community resources If you're unsure, reach out. We do our best to connect everyone to the right support, even if it’s outside our organization.

My Time Community does not operate housing facilities, but we provide housing navigation, referrals, and support through community partnerships and programs like CalAIM Community Supports.

Our organization is led by individuals with lived experience in the foster care system and professionals who understand trauma-informed care. We focus on early intervention, community building, and holistic support so young adults do not fall into cycles of homelessness or instability.

While we do not provide emergency shelter or crisis services directly, we help youth connect quickly to appropriate community resources and crisis response partners. We guide members through the process to ensure they’re not navigating it alone.

Our vision is a future where no young adult leaving foster care ever falls into homelessness. Research shows that nearly 1 in 3 former foster youth experience homelessness within the first two years of aging out, highlighting the urgent need for early, intentional support. My Time Community is committed to stopping homelessness before it starts by providing the stability, life skills, and community connections young adults need long before they reach a crisis point. As we grow, we aim to expand into comprehensive transitional support, leadership development, and long-term housing stability programs that empower former foster youth to build secure and successful futures.
